I am a list maker. I love lists. I don’t know what it is about them, but they make me feel secure in that I have my thoughts organized on a piece of paper.

In lieu of that, I have created a new list.

I joined something called Day Zero Project. It’s a site that I found thanks to an friend who posted this on their twitter and discovered how fun it might be. You can sign up and start your own list of 101 things that you want to accomplish in 1001 days. It’s a little silly, I suppose, but maybe if I actually pay attention to it, then a few years from now I can look back and say “Hey! I actually got those things done!” and be proud of myself. I’m not going to lie to you here, I have a list of things I’d like to do before I’m 25, before I’m 30, and before I’m 35. So alas, here is my list.

I don’t even have close to 101 things, but I’ll add more as I think about it some more. It was easy for me to think of things to do before I turn “X” age, but to think of things to accomplish in the next 2 and a half years is kind of difficult. I’ll keep thinking. Think think think.

Cheers!

I’m going to be stuck in the apartment for weeks and weeks…

Pete and I have started watching M*A*S*H. As of today, we’re on episode 16 of the first season. There are 11 seasons.

This is going to take a while, but I’ll love it with a cold one in my hand all the way.

is the tale being told at the Winter Games.

Here’s how it works: You have to show up to every game one hour before game-time. The game lasts two hours. Then you sit for about half an hour being supervised, then you undress and debrief amongst yourself for another half an hour. Total time for one single game: 4 hours.

Here’s the breakdown for Friday:
Two games in one day: 8 hours.
Fitness training Off-ice: 1 hour.
Watching one game: 2 hours.
Total time at the rink: 11 hours.

Here’s the breakdown for Saturday:
Got to the rink at 6:30 a.m.
Two games in one day: 8 hours.
Fitness training Off-ice: 1 hour.
Fitness training On-ice: 2 hours.
Watching one game: 2 hours.
Total time at the rink: 13 hours.
Left the rink at 7:30 p.m.

We’ll see what happens for tomorrow. It’s been exhausting, tiring, stressful, sore, and also a lot of fun.

Hope anyone reading is having a more relaxing weekend than I am. It’s bedtime now. I have to be at the rink at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow.

to keep up with this blog, even though I’m not doing a good job. Especially since I have one other blog, facebook, twitter, and posting on the SA forum to keep up on.

But the real reason for this post…

I got to be on this rad radio show on NAIT’s NR92 called Lemurs and Meerkats. The link to the podcast is here.

We talked about tuition, student services, and many other random things like licking rocks and the ipad.

That’s the latest.

2. Butter Chicken and Saffron Rice – Indian Fusion
3. Po’ Boy Sandwiches – Dadeo’s
4. Hush Puppies – Louisiana Purchase
5. Peaches and Cream Shrimp – The Lingnan

What are your favorites?

Oh yeah… Happy New Year!
